Erlebnis Saaleradweg

The Saale Cycle Path e. V. is the first contact point when it comes to the tourism and marketing of the Saale Cycle Path. The purpose of the association is to make the different landscapes, regional peculiarities and traditions along the Saale from the river source to the estuary better known and easily accessible. Currently 12 local municipal members along the Saale collaborate together across regional districts with state and municipal authorities.

The Saale Cycle Path is the primary means for experiencing the landscape along the Saale Valley, which is known nationally for its outstanding beauty.

The Head Office in Jena coordinates the association's work. The close proximity of the Jena Tourist Information Centre allows the staff of the association to have a very direct and immediate contact with both visitors and local stakeholders.
