Planning your bike ride along the Saale Cycle Path is quick and easy. We can offer handy hints and useful information to help you plan your individual journey. Take advantage of our recommendations for arrival and departure points, baggage shuttle, bike transfers, ferries and their operating times as well as possible connecting routes and bike hire along the trail.
The Saale Cycle Path can be experienced both from the source in the Fichtelgebirge Mountains to the Saale estuary as it joins the river Elbe just above Barby, or in the opposite direction. Since the entire route is almost completely linked by the rail network it is possible to cut out certain sections.
